A NEW CHAPTER IN HIS LIFE.
He peeped through the glass pane,
She lay there and he smiled seeing her face,
The nurse came in and with her beckoning,
Asked him to follow her pace.
She opened the gate,
And gently gave the little one to him,
He held her close to his heart,
she opened her eyes and beamed.
This was a feeling he had never felt before,
For he felt like he was holding an angel,
She twisted in his strong arms and looked at his face,
Her face had a precious glow and sparkle.
On this day he had become a father,
A father to a lovely baby girl,
He couldn’t believe that he,
Was holding his very own daughter.
He kissed her smooth and tiny forehead,
And pulled her closer
As tears of joy escaped,
He then looked at his wife,
The three got into an embrace,
Because this was a bright new chapter in his life.
